Bob Adams

Founder

Bob founded HDAdvisors in 2006 after decades working across all sectors of the affordable housing industry. Over 40 years “in the business” give him wide and diverse expertise in housing development, finance and policy. Bob previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Community Housing Partners, which significantly expanded its multifamily portfolio to more than 5,000 apartments throughout the Southeast under his tenure. He’s also held leadership positions at the National Low Income Housing Coalition, the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, and the Virginia Housing Development Authority. Bob has served on a variety of national and local Boards and Advisory Committees. He is a graduate of Yale University, has a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from VCU.
